Michelle Obama is the First Lady of the United States, married to the nation's 44th President, Barack Obama. She was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. Obama graduated from Princeton University and Harvard Law School, going on to practice marketing and intellectual property law at the law firm Sidley Austin, where she met her husband. She married Barack Obama in 1992, and together they have two daughters, Sasha and Malia. Since assuming the title of First Lady, Obama has been widely covered by the media and followed by the public for both her fashion sense and her sense of duty to the nation as the President's wife. Time magazine reported that she has become "the most watched First Lady in a generation."
